I swear he gets cuter every day!

How the heck did she just turn 13??? I remember her firt birthday! The good old days... before she had such an attitude!!! ;) I've loved this little girl for so darn long... I've watched her grow up! I'm so proud of the young woman she is becoming! She's got a good head on her shoulders and she is going to go far in this world. She wants to write movies when she grows up. She said she will have to go to college in LA b/c that's where most of the famous movie people hang out but she promises she will move back home to us as soon as she's done with college :) She also said she can't wait to get married... b/c she is sick of being a little kid LOL. Oh Alyssa I love you!!! I can't wait to see what you will do with your life, I know whatever it is you will be amazing and make a mark on this world!

Brings me right back...

The hubs and I had a date night not long ago and watched Romeo & Juliet. I LOVE this movie! I can't help it! I love everything about it... well except for the whole duel suicide thing. Other than that its great! Mostly I love that every time I watch it I'm transported right back to 8th grade. I remember going with my friends to see this movie and just bawling our heads off at the end... like we didn't know what was going to happen right. I have the movie (on VHS and DVD) and the TWO yes I said 2 soundtracks to the movie. I remember those super cheesy parties we would have and we would play some of the songs from the soundtrack and dance around like such dorks. (who am I kidding, I was in the corner holding up the wall)I love everything Romeo & Juliet! I'm sure if I looked hard enough I could even find the huge poster I had of Romeo looking through the fish tank! Oh Romeo...
